I am a lesbian (she/her/hers).

I received my Bachelor’s of Science in Education from Ohio Dominican University (I attended for sports not for religious affiliations). I hold two state licensures for teaching; one in early childhood education and the second in special education mild to moderate and moderate to intensive. Since graduating from ODU, I have been teaching here locally at Newark High School. A majority of my teaching career has focused on building interpersonal and functional living skills for students with disabilities to prepare them for life after high school. I am currently the advisor of our school’s GSA. When I’m not working, you can find me immersed in my plants, plants and more plants. I enjoy watching murder documentaries with my partner while browsing our plant wishlists. Other interests of mine include hiking, playing volleyball, photography, traveling, and organizing.
